What stays on your device
Your handwriting — the strokes, pressure, and any image of what you wrote — is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded. Recognition happens locally using the system's built-in engine.
What we receive
- The recognized text of what you wrote, its language, and a recognition confidence value.
- The book's replies, generated on our servers.
- Memory entries and summaries derived from your conversations, used only to make the book's replies more personal to you.
- An anonymous account identifier created on first launch, and basic device information (platform, model, OS version, app version, locale).
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers, and we show no ads.
How replies are generated
Recognized text and relevant memory are sent over an encrypted connection (TLS) to our self-hosted servers, which use the DeepSeek API as an AI processor to compose each reply. Only the text needed for the reply is shared with the processor.
Retention and your controls
- Conversations are retained so the book can remember you across sessions.
- Memory can be switched off in Settings; the book then stops learning.
- “Clear my memory” permanently removes all memory entries and summaries; cleared memory is never restored.
- “Export my data” gives you a complete copy of your data as a file.
- “Delete account & all data” removes everything permanently and promptly.

你的笔迹——笔画、压力以及书写画面——全部在设备本地处理，从不上传。识别由系统内置引擎在本地完成。
我们会收到的内容
- 识别出的文字、其语言以及识别置信度。
- 由我们服务器生成的书的回复。
- 由对话提炼的记忆条目与摘要，仅用于让回复更懂你。
- 首次启动时创建的匿名账号标识，以及基础设备信息（平台、机型、系统版本、应用版本、语言区域）。
我们不收集姓名、邮箱、通讯录、位置信息或广告标识符，也没有任何广告。
回复如何生成
识别后的文字与相关记忆经加密连接（TLS）传输至我们自托管的服务器，服务器调用 DeepSeek API 作为 AI 处理方生成回复。仅共享生成回复所必需的文本。
数据保留与你的控制
- 对话会被保留，以便书在多次会话间记得你。
- 可在设置中关闭记忆，书将停止学习。
- 「清空我的记忆」永久删除全部记忆条目与摘要，已清空的记忆不会被恢复。
- 「导出我的数据」提供你全部数据的完整副本。
- 「删除账号与全部数据」将永久、及时地删除一切。
